Chiang Mai, Thailand.

It may have taken almost three years, but I am back. And it's great. And I don't want to leave...again. I'll write more later. Maybe tomorrow after my day long "trek" ... elephant riding, white water rafting, and visiting some hill tribes. :-)

Aaaand I'm off!

I finished giving the last of my final exams this afternoon (they were a joke!) and now I'm free for the next four weeks! So what are my plans?? In about an hour and a half, I will (hopefully...unless it's late) be on a train heading towards Shenzhen where I will cross the border into Hong Kong. There I will meet up with Lauren, my friend from home who is also teaching English in China, before hopping on a plane to THAILAND!!! It's been three years since my semester abroad and I can't even express in words how excited I am to be going back! I will only be in Thailand (Chiang Mai, to be exact) for about a week before we hop over to Laos and then Cambodia and finally to Bangkok to catch our flight back to China. I'll try to keep you all updated while I'm on the road.
