100 Days.

I remember back in November when my site-mate announced that we had reached our hundredth day in China. I remember thinking, Wow! We have already been here for 100 days?? A lot had passed in those hundred days - 2 1/2 months worth of teaching, several weekend get-aways and a week-long trip to Hong Kong, countless bowls of rice, and memories to last a lifetime.

Since then, the time has continued to fly by (I was browsing through my blog entries recently and was amazed that days that feel like yesterday were actually months and months ago) and now I am down to my last 100 days. That's right. I have 100 more days left in China.

Officially, my contract ends on July 4, but likely I will finish teaching around the middle of June, though who knows for sure. Planning isn't one of China's strong suits - my school isn't even sure of the exact dates of mid-term exams yet, and they are at the end of this month! After I finish teaching I will spend a few weeks traveling (Beijing, Xi'an, and the Sichuan province) before hopping on a plane back to America on July 22nd.

Though my time left in China is limited, I have every intention of living my final 100 days to the fullest...and blogging about my adventures for all of you. Stay tuned. :-)
